We are a one-of-a-kind school.
Our dedicated staff offer a safe, harmonious and creative learning environment to each and every student.
St. Laserian’s School’s approach to education is to develop the whole person. This is
achieved through varied, thoughtfully planned curricula, and individual or class
programmes that nurture independence, introduce new skills and reinforce learning in a
creative and appropriate way.
Our campus is modern and spacious; it meets the needs of all of our students with
rooms and designated areas for sensory movement, light and water therapy, life
skills, learning through play, gardening, cookery, woodwork, indoor and outdoor
learning and relaxation. We believe in the measurable benefits of fresh air and
activity for children and young people; our grounds are spacious and offer areas for
all ages from 5-18 to participate in Physical Education activities.
Our on-site staff is comprised by myself, the Principal, Brigid the Deputy Principal, 22 teachers, 41 special needs assistants, 2 administrative staff, 2 onsite nurses Miriam and Katie, and a caretaker. Our staff further extends to a team of bus escorts and cleaning staff.
All visitors remark on the friendly spirit and ethos of our school that is evident when
entering through the front doors. Each person is valued equally.

It is the philosophy of St. Laserian's School to develop the whole person - his or her physical, emotional, cultural, aesthetic, social, spiritual, moral and intellectual qualities. These qualities have equal value. The School will achieve this philosophy through the provision of appropriate environment and policies, and
individualised curricula and programmes.
These provisions will be based on the concept of mutual respect and co-operation and will acknowledge that the school embraces a wide and diverse community.
